hear from our alumni
"Having worked with the^delta Incubator and Accelerator for over 4 years now, I can’t reinforce enough on how instrumental the^delta has been to our mission of providing Software Engineering employment to young women from rural and tribal India. With the launch of the^delta, we can only wish for more power to the^delta to do the unthinkable."
"the^delta has brought urgency in the Indian social sector to alleviate poverty within our lifetime. Now, with the^delta, it has put the spotlight on the most important lever to do this – livelihoods. I am hopeful that in its unique style, the^delta will mobilize resources and forge collaborations across the board to strengthen existing solutions and innovate models around new livelihoods streams."

Accelerator applications are only through the referrals of our partners and/or the^delta alumni. Requirements include: A non-profit social enterprise registered as a Section 8 company, trust, or society with valid 12A and 80G, early-stage startup (1-5 years) with a well-defined program, main work towards enabling resilient livelihoods for marginalized communities, core team across functions onboarded, and funds raised from other sources (grant from the^delta should preferably be less than 20% of funds raised).
No. For the^delta Accelerator, we prefer an early-stage organization with the core team in place apart from the founders.
We offer a scale/growth grant of up to ₹100 lakhs, hands-on 1:1 mentoring by a SocEnt partner with focused support on organization building, support from portfolio manager, connects to potential donors and partners, and access to like-minded alumni network.
While mentoring will happen remotely over telephone/video chat, founders and leadership teams will be required to attend boot camps in person.
We believe technology has the power to accelerate social development, as tech-enabled products and services can help scale ideas much faster and at an affordable rate. We welcome nonprofits that leverage technology in their product, service or outreach to bring about social change.
Yes, for the accelerator program, you have to be registered as a Section 8 company, a trust, or a society with a valid 12A and 80G. You also need a proven track record of conducting all your activities through the entity.
