December 2025:
Applications will open through our website for the seed. Eligible organisations will submit detailed proposals outlining their innovation, implementation plan, and intended outcomes. The last date for submission of applications is December 31, 2025

January – February 2026:
Shortlisted applicants will go through up to 3 rounds of interviews including a technical interview

February - March 2026:
Selected organisations will be intimated of their nomination for the Pragati AI for Impact cohort via email. Agreement signing and grant disbursement will be initiated during this time.

What is Meta Pragati: AI for Impact ?

Meta Pragati AI for Impact is a program designed to accelerate the adoption and scaling of technology and AI-driven nonprofit solutions across India. This program aims to guide and strengthen the technology-for-impact ecosystem by continuing to support innovative new pilots while scaling and mainstreaming proven technology solutions for social good. Through this effort, the initiative seeks to unlock the full potential of digital and AI innovation to drive inclusive and sustainable development across the country.

The program provides financial and non-financial support to help nonprofits build and scale impactful AI solutions. Selected organisations will receive:

  • Grants — up to ₹1 crore (Seed stage)
  • Strategic and implementation guidance from tech mentors.
  • Workshops, masterclasses, and peer-learning sessions.
  • Visibility and network support via demo days, media features, and expert convenings.

The threshold eligibility for applicants for the seed stage are:

  • Registered Indian non-profit (Trust or Section 8 Company).
  • Between 1–10 years old, or an alumni organisation of The/Nudge Incubator or The/Nudge Accelerator.
  • Annual budget of at least ₹1 crore
  • The organisation must have an AI/technology component integral to its core operations, or demonstrate clear capacity to integrate technology effectively.
  • All required corporate documentation must be submitted with the proposal.
  • Note: Supported solutions must be non-commercial in nature.

Applicants should have a low fidelity or working prototype, pilot, or proof of concept.

Our 12-month structured program pairs each organisation with dedicated mentors and portfolio managers. Additionally, we provide masterclasses, peer learning sessions, monitoring and evaluation support, ecosystem convenings, demo days, and expert connections to strengthen implementation capacity and amplify knowledge-sharing across the cohort.

 

Applicants must submit:

  • 80G (or provisional 80G) certificate, valid at least till 31 March 2027.
  • 12A (or provisional 12A) certificate, valid at least till 31 March 2027.
  • Financial statements for FY 2024–2025.
  • Latest corporate presentation/pitch deck.
  • Grant proposal document (as per the provided format).
  • FCRA certificate (if applicable)
